Up to 42% of occupiers and large developers have signed leases incorporating green clauses, according to 340 sustainability leaders we surveyed across Asia Pacific.

As green leases gain traction, conventional leases could soon become a thing of the past — 65% of sustainability leaders believe that green leases would replace conventional leases by 2025.

But challenges such as increased costs, lack of qualified properties, and complex regulations, could slow adoption. How should landlords and occupiers work together to mitigate these challenges?
