Todd is the Managing Director for JLL New Zealand, based in Auckland.
His career spans more than 23 years as a property professional, including more than 18 years working and living internationally, predominantly in emerging markets.
In 1995, Todd joined Jones Lang LaSalle’s Wellington office to work in the Agency Leasing team before moving to London in 1999 to work with Global Client Services. He then moved to Mumbai at the beginning of 2000 to take on the role as Head of the Mumbai Agency before being promoted as the Director of the Indian Agency business in 2002. In late-2003, Todd moved to Beijing to be the Director of Commercial Leasing before moving back to New Zealand in 2005 as the Head of the New Zealand Commercial Leasing business.
In 2006 Todd moved to Dubai to work for Dubai Properties. Following this, in 2008 he moved to Abu Dhabi to join the Tourism Development and Investment Company, before returning to JLL as the Country Head for Indonesia.
Todd’s most recent position was with JLL as Country Head for Indonesia and as an International Director of the firm. During his time in this role the Indonesian business grew in excess of 800% with a headcount climbing from 75 to more than 600 people. Following eight successful years in this position, Todd and his family made the move back to New Zealand in early 2018 in order for Todd to take the reigns as Managing Director for the New Zealand business.
