Ross is Head of Office Leasing Advisory at JLL, specialising in solutions for top tier corporates in the Auckland market. With over 20 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry, Ross brings a unique global perspective to his role, stemming from senior positions in multiple international markets.
Preceding his Chartered Surveyor qualification in the UK, Ross spent a decade in various office leasing roles in Hong Kong, culminating in Director & Co-head of Office Services at Colliers. In 2014, Ross relocated to New Zealand, taking up a nationwide corporate portfolio role with ANZ Bank, before leading an award-winning Occupier Advisory business for CBRE. In 2018, Ross moved to the JLL Capital Markets team, where he established NZD $30m+ worth of relationships with over 300 new domestic and offshore investors. His other key highlights include originating the largest CBD office debt financing transaction of 2021, brokering the NZD $297m disposal/exchange of a portfolio of office assets, and delivering several strategic capital raises and partnership strategies for institutional investors, both domestically and offshore.
In his current role, Ross is responsible for the overall Office Leasing Advisory business across New Zealand, including tenant representation.
