JLL NZ scoops three honours at RICS Awards 2019

JLL New Zealand has taken out three categories at the annual NZ RICS Awards.

It was a fantastic night of celebration with a full room and Kerre McIvor as MC. Of the 13 awards presented at a ceremony in Auckland at Sky City on Thursday 25 July, JLL NZ took home:

• Valuation Team of the Year – JLL NZ Valuation and Advisory
•  Building Consultancy & Project Management Team of the Year – JLL NZ Project and Development Services
• Construction Project Management Team of the Year – JLL NZ Project and Development Services

The awards of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) recognise the commercial property sector and professionals within the land, property, construction and infrastructure industries. These awards are held annually in major cities around the world to recognise world class achievements and the highest standards of professionalism and ethics being upheld across the built environment.

JLL NZ Senior Director and Head of Valuations and Advisory Dale Winfield says it was a fantastic result to win the RICS Valuation Team of the Year, representing an amazing effort from the whole team across New Zealand to build and support a culture that enables them to work hard and be successful but also to have fun.

“As a team we have worked hard to provide an inclusive and diverse environment which allows people to achieve their ambitions. This year we have grown as a team and are working more collaboratively across the country to achieve even better results,” says Winfield.

“The award provides recognition of the wider team and our status within the property sector. JLL NZ Senior Director and Head of Project and Development Services Ben Dalton says they’re proud to have won both Project Management Team of the Year Awards.

“It’s fantastic to be recognised for our dedication and professionalism that our Project Management team demonstrate in leading the delivery of all building refurbishments, fitouts, and new-build developments for a wide range of owners and occupiers across New Zealand,” says Dalton.

“These specific awards were for the heritage restoration and luxury fit-out of the iconic DFS Customhouse building in Auckland, delivered as an integrated fit-out of Landlord and Tenant works whilst the building remained open to the public throughout construction. Our talented Project Management team are looking forward to continue working with our high valued clients across all sectors in leading the delivery of their projects.”
