A full design and build office fitout for Trustee Executors
With a growing business, Trustee Executors required a larger and more modern workspace that promoted collaboration between clients and employees.
Trustee Executors required a full design and build solution to meet the requirements of their new lease for a larger floor within their existing building. New Zealand’s oldest and most experienced independent trust company needed a space that promoted collaboration between clients and employees. This demanded working both with the landlord and Trustee Executors to plan, design, and deliver the completely new fit-out from start to finish.
Having been appointed to manage the entire design and build, JLL sat down with Trustee Executors and the landlord to determine the vision of the new fit-out. Key features included front of house client-facing spaces, new collaboration spaces, and an employee community space, all enhanced by aspects like feature lighting and premium flooring. A short deadline was proposed, so JLL worked with the appointed Designer to guide the client to make decisions at the right times to mitigate any delays. Procurement issues arose for the chosen timber flooring, but JLL proposed a similar product at a similar cost but without the delays which the client was more than happy to accept.
The entire fit-out was completed on time and on budget. JLL managed the project from conception to completion and even assisted with the move management as Trustee Executors moved from their former office. The company now enjoys a full refurbishment with a fresh look and feel, an exciting new work experience, and a variety of flexible working spaces in a collaborative office environment.
