AKL Southern Corridor Office - May 2010


Tenant demand in the Souther Corridor (which extends along Great South Road from Manukau Road to the Penrose interchange) has decreased in 4Q09, continuing the trend that was present over the 2008 period. However, the area continues to be an attractive alternative to the CBD, due to the ease of accessibility, car parking ratios, high quality of accomodation and lower OPEX. This has resulted in the Southern Corridor office market experiencing the largest amount of growth out of the suburban markets monitored.
