Vacancy remains tight in Auckland's Wynyard Quarter Precinct despite new supply continuing to filter into the market. Some capacity has emerged in the core CBD, but overall space remains tight prime grade buildings.
In Wellington, vacancy across the skyline is severely limited as a result of the market reshuffle post the 2016 earthquake. New supply around the corner will help to alleviate some of this pressure.
In Christchurch, vacancy remains elevated although there continues to be positive absorption. The final projects of the first post-quake office development cycle are due to be delivered by early 2018.
