Auckland Retail Market


​Auckland CBD & Suburban vacancy levels fell across the majority of all Auckland retail markets to 5.5% in 2H12. Demand for retail space in key consumer hotspots remains firm against a backdrop of limited supply. As predicted, vacancy rates in Auckland CBD fell to 4.6% in the second half of 2012, partly contributed from established, international brands seeking to enter the New Zealand market.
