Performance trends within the Wellington office market were mixed over the second half of 2012. Wellington’s overall office vacancy increased marginally over the latter stages of 2012 from 10.4% to 10.9% . The underlying movements at precinct level however were far from consistent. The CBD Core precinct, which provides 450,000 sqm of net supply, recorded an increase in vacant space of almost 16,700 sqm over 2H12.
