​​JLL’s agency division have been appointed as exclusive brokers to sell the ex-Central Institute of Technology (CIT) campus at 51 Somme Road, Heretaunga, Upper Hutt on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
Fronting the sales team are John Persico, commercial sales broker and John McKenzie, director of investment sales at JLL who will be launching an international sales campaign along with a comprehensive four week marketing campaign in the coming weeks.
Included in the sale are; an administration block, lecture theatre, five classroom block, six halls of residence, childcare centre, library, computer centre, tennis court and two sports fields. 
The freehold property’s land area spans across approximately 18.29 hectares, is held in three titles and zoned “Special Activities” under the rules of the Upper Hutt City Council.

John Persico says, “The property is particularly appealing to any educational institution looking to establish a base in Upper Hutt and is also prime for a residential or retirement village conversion.”
