Jones Lang LaSalle New Zealand is sponsoring Motivational speaker John Shackleton in his attempt to swim the dangerous Cook Strait at the end of March.

Jones Lang LaSalle has become a major sponsor of leading Australasian motivational speaker John Shackleton in his quest to swim the Cook Strait next month.

“We are right behind John in his Cook Strait swim,” said Jones Lang LaSalle’s marketing manager Libby Collins.

“As arguably New Zealand’s premier motivational speaker we use John to engage our staff and install in them the highest level of motivation, dedication and commitment,” said Collins.

“This enables our clients to continually get the best results,” she said.

“When we heard John was attempting the Cook Strait swim we were inspired. We are more than happy to give back and believe and support John in his endeavour”.

“We are also delighted that the Autism Foundation will be the beneficiaries of its competition,” Collins said.

“We wish John all the best in his monumental challenge and thank him for continually reminding us to break new boundaries and be the best we can be,” she said.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s managing director Nick Hargreaves said: “John has a pulse. He is not just telling people how to set goals, he is backing up and achieving his own.”

Jones Lang LaSalle has been in operation for the past 25 years and prides itself on working closely with its clients. “We refresh our approach continually to keep pace with our clients’ requirements and the complexities of the commercial real estate industry,” said Hargreaves.

“We know our clients want the best and that’s what we want too. We source our talent from all over the world and nurture them to get the best results.

“We think outside the square of a typical real estate firm and are a fresh team of service providers that create solutions and innovative approaches in an integrated way.

“The world we work in is changing and so are we. We increased our staff by more than 35 per cent last year throughout New Zealand and achieved revenue growth of 30/40 per cent. We are proud of the ‘old world’ barriers we are breaking and the records we are smashing,” said Hargreaves.

Jones Lang LaSalle recently received awards for Best Consultancy Firm at the Asia Pacific Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television as well as winning Number 1 title at the Euromoney Real Estate awards.
