What this job involves

As Receptionist you will be part of JLL working onsite for our client who is a global technology company, and one of the world's top 5 global employers located in the vibrant Wynyard Quarter.

This is a full-time permanent role covering reception from 8.00am to 5.00pm and would suit a bright, well-presented, friendly individual who is keen to gain some experience in facilities coordination.

You will be the first point of call for all visitors, ensuring a great first impression. In addition to reception duties, you will also coordinate all aspects of building maintenance and essential services via contractor management, as well as provide financial administration support.

Key responsibilities include taking care of office supplies, catering and weekly food orders, event coordination, mail distribution, tracking and input of invoices and processing of incoming and outgoing mail /packages.

This position is varied and at times very hands on, so you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves to do what is required. You will deal with people at all levels of the organisation as well as members of the public.

You'll also need:

  • A strong work ethic coupled with previous services' experience
  • Have a high attention to detail, deadline driven with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Be an effective communicator with superior writing skills.
  • Have strong networking skills & and be able to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and find it easy to pick up new systems and technology
  • Have a demonstrated background in customer service, either from a maintenance or facilities background.
